this was last saturday when ellie and i trooped many miles through the snow (yes, actually) just to get to the natural history museum.

i had no concept of how beautiful the building is.

there really is a lot of crap going on at the albert memorial. so much mythical and victorian symbology, so many different stones, so many stylistic combinations. it really started to hurt my head by the end of it. we were there for ages trying to figure it all out.
